I am the second and the last child in my family. My father is Ahmad Gunawan Sumadipradja, who was born in November 21st, 1950 and had just passed away in June 2008. He married my mother, Endang Utami, who was born in September 6th, 1954, in 1st July 1979. My brother, Adhitya Nugraha Sumadipradja, was born soon after my parents are married - March 24th, 1980.
My father is the second child of five (I will tell my story about his family another time). Born in Jakarta, he spent all of his lifetime in Jakarta, except when he took his graduate degree in Bandung. His educational background was Industrial Engineering. He started his career in PT Bahana, one of public company in Jakarta, but no longer stayed there. He had been a lecturer in two universities in Jakarta: Muhammadiyah University Jakarta and Atmajaya University. In his last days, lecturing was his passion which he loved most beside his family.
My mother is the last child of five (I too will tell my story about her family another time). She was born in Bandung and spent her childhood there. She took a secretariat academy and started her career in PT BASF Indonesia in Bandung office. After she married my father and having me as their second child, she worked in Jakarta office. Starting this February, she has been enjoying her time at home.
My brother born in Bandung. For about four years since he was born, he lived in Bandung. He held his Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mettallurgy for sure). He loves to be in the field. Have worked as an engineer in AIT and PT Freeport Indonesia, he extends his career in BHP Billiton in Australia, as an engineer too. He married Natasha Safriani Indra in April 2008 and now lives in Australia with his wife. They are waiting for their first child to come.
Me? I was born in Jakarta, November 21st, 1984. Like my father, I've never live outside Jakarta, except when I took my graduate degree in Bandung. My educational background is Industrial Engineering too. Since August 2008, I've been working in PT Mattel Indonesia, in Cikarang. Because the office is far away from my home, I live in Cikarang in workdays. Every weekends I get back home.
Since my brother lives abroad with his family, I live with my mother in Cinere. The two of us often spend our time together, mostly in some malls in Jakarta. Sometimes we both come to our relatives when there's a family gathering.
